Minus Shamos...
Minus Shamos is the name of my band. We started out in the mid 2000's and jammed in Regina a bunch, learning cover songs, making our own, then I moved to Medicine Hat and it was on hiatus for a while. Since then, one of the two other guys moved here and we are kind of band-ish again, though between school and work, we only play for fun and not for a profession.

"MS" is kind of an iffy acronym to make a logo out of, often being misinterpreted as Multiple Sclerosis, so to add further obscruity to a name such as "Minus Shamos", I made our logo as an emoticon that I have used for years on the Internet: ;[ . It is also in Verdana bold, making some people, including me, question the validity of it being "designed".
Minus Shamos Lyric Section
The majority of the lyrics are written by me; however, since I am just starting out with guitar, it is somewhat difficult to write the tune. Despite playing drums for years and having taken lessons and all that entails, you cannot really or successfully write a lyrical song with drums first.
