Kemira is a chemical industry group based in Helsinki, Finland. The company, founded in 1920, specializes in water treatment, fiber products, and packaging & hygiene. With over 100 years of experience, Kemira focuses on safe, sustainable chemistry solutions that promote hygiene, safe water, food safety, and more. They actively partner with water-intensive industries, such as municipal water utilities and pulp & paper producers, to improve efficiency, reuse resources, and enhance environmental sustainability.

The Kemira website was designed by Miltton (Opens in new window) in Finland and developed by Frantic (Opens in new window) using WordPress. I joined the project shortly after its inception and, over time, became deeply involved in refining nearly every aspect of it. My responsibilities encompassed the maintainence and enhancement of existing components, working closely with the client and their design team to develop new features, and overseeing the integration of third-party APIs into the platform.
