Vantaan Energia is one of Finland's largest urban energy companies which provides affordable, energy efficient and secure district heating in Vantaa. Along with a strategy centered on resource efficiency and smart energy circulation, Vantaan Energia leads Finland in customer satisfaction for both district heating and electricity transmission.

The Vantaan Energia website, along with its subsidiary site, Vantaan Energia Sähköverkot (Opens in new window), were both designed and developed by Frantic (Opens in new window) using WordPress. The two sites shared a unified repository, and working on them concurrently offered valuable insights into efficiently managing and optimising shared templates, styling, and scripts across multiple services. In addition to supporting the development of these websites, several third-party integrations were implemented over the years to better serve the company’s customers, ranging from pricing and electricity mapping systems to metering service APIs and heat map analytics.
